At The Barbeque King and One Three Catering, we believe in the power of food to bring people together and create lasting memories. Founded by Keith Lombardo, a chef with over 25 years of experience, our journey is rooted deeply in family values and personal passion. Inspired by his early days at a local pizzeria and a butcher shop, as well as the memory of his dear friend Michael Burkhardt, Keith’s dedication shines in every dish we create. This blend of personal history and heartfelt connections is at the core of what we do, offering unique BBQ experiences and year-round catering options. Whether it's an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, we're committed to exceptional service and building lasting relationships with our clients.

KEITH LOMBARDO

Chef / owner has been cooking and serving Long island for the past 25 years. Like classic food "stories and training" Keith started washing dishes and learned how to make pizza dough when he was 16 at a local pizzeria where he grew up. He then also started working at a local butcher shop where he learned all things meat and also started his knowledge of cooking, catering, & BBQs. Keith then attended New York Restaurant School in Manhattan where he got his Culinary degree & also got his Associates in Food Service & Restaurant Management from Nassau Community College. Since then till now, he has worked in Country Clubs, Restaurants, & and Gourmet Delis across Long Island. Keith partnered with the BBQ King in 2016. He has since taken sole ownership of the BBQ King and also started One Three Catering and K.T.O.(Kings To Go Sandwiches). Keith and his wife Ashley and two sons Leo & Oliver live in Holbrook. Keith's vision has always been about family. We don't want to just cater 1 party for you. We want to build a relationship for years to come and become family where we can cater & celebrate the most important life events with you

The One Three Catering Story

One Three Catering & Events was created to handle all types of catering other then BBQ. As the business grows, we find a need to separate the two types of food as the company is expanding and offering new exciting products. One Three Catering can handle all your holiday orders, super bowl, hot food dishes and anything else you can think of.

What is the meaning behind One Three? My dear friend, Michael Burkhardt, who was more like a brother then just a friend for over 30 years, passed away in 2014. He was an amazing father, husband, son, friend and so many other things, to so many other people. He also was an athlete, and his number was #13. I can hear Big John yelling go 13, go!

Creating this Company and naming it for the memory of him just makes sense for me. "Burks" as everyone always called him, had such a glowing personality and was so passionate about so many things especially his friends and family. He is with us in spirit everyday and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him.

And that is what we at One Three Catering & Events and The BBQ King are all about. FAMILY!! We don't want to just cater a party or deliver a few trays of pasta. We want to build relationships with all of our customers and create something that will last for the years.
